Takeshi Furumoto, one of the founding members of the Japan History Council of New York, was born in northern California’s Tule Lake War Relocation Center in 1944. He served in the Vietnam War and suffered from PTSD upon his return to the U.S., where he nevertheless established a successful career in the NY and NJ real estate business.
