Fuji TV started Japanese broadcasts in the U.S. in October 1982. In 2012, they produced the “30th Anniversary of Japanese Broadcasting Special Program” TV Japan, an affiliate of NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation), started broadcasting in the U.S. in April 1991.
