JAA’s New Year’s Eve party has been held annually since 1957. It was organized by the JAA Nisei Committee to “create an opportunity for businessmen from Japan and Japanese Issei to welcome in the New Year together”. Since the initial event was such a success, JAA now holds the Year End Dinner annually.
